I forgot I never showed you the valentines my girl made!
She crocheted friendship cuffs.
The idea is from this book (which I've mentioned before - it's awesome). She got the book and a bag full of yarn and hooks for Christmas and has been loving it.
She was originally going to do more than three, but when you homeschool and Valentine's day is on a Sunday... three is okay. Just for the friends she plays with most.
She enjoyed going through my vintage button tin to pick one for each cuff. For the card, she traced her hand and wrote " A Friendship cuff for you" on the bottom of it. We were going to package them in cellophane bags all cute, but that didn't happen. Her friends liked them - now she needs one for herself!

And I will just say that I was so looking forward to this week - no Coppelia rehearsals and no more YW basketball (which I love, but it is two afternoons a week, which is hard with the kids, so I'll be glad when it's over)!
Except turns out we made region play in basketball! So we had practice this week and our first region game last night - and we won! Which means we play next week...
Have a great weekend! We have a Star Wars party to attend and a girl's night out to a ballet. Fun stuff!
