Soccer again.
Monkey played for all of 2 minutes before he needed a break - to roll in the grass, play with friends, and sit with Grandma. That's okay - he's only 3.
A little mommy-daughter date - to the free American Girl t-shirt craft at Michael's.
Peaches, peaches, and more peaches! The fruit sock thingies didn't seem to work for the pears, but holy cow, they work for peaches! We've had buckets of them and they're all bug and worm free! All of them. Delish. Next year I need to learn to bottle them. This year we're eating them fresh, making cobbler and a batch of freezer jam, and freezing slices for smoothies.
A Sunday Evening Walk/Run/Scooter ride: taking advantage of the tail end of summer. The very tail end. Today, the first day of Autumn, is appropriately chilly and rainy.
And Aaron and I watched King Corn and Sicko - King Corn was awesome. Very entertaining (thanks for the recommend, Stefani!) except I wish they would have talked more about how the corn syrup we eat (in everything) isn't processed well by our bodies.
Sicko was harder to watch - and we found the Frontline program on PBS more balanced and informative on the American health insurance problems.
And now we're feeling all disgruntled...
How was your weekend?
