Monkey:
"A Wall! Dad made it! Yay! I helped. I hammered."
We have door.
We've had to block off the frame with bookshelves so that the kids won't run back and forth through it. Even better is that Aaron is downstairs working on the drywall this very moment. He is so very handy.
Thomas loves his new room. He runs up there to have some quiet play time all the time. I keep a few toys in his closet (which he can't open) and only get out one at a time. He listens to his Curious George audiobooks up there. It's really his space. I feel bad now that he spent so much time in Princess-ville - which was usually cluttered with dress-up and doll clothes and lots of books. Not so relaxing for him.
I have plans to make it a little more 'big boy' for him (including that awesome robot fabric) and I plan on making a bunch of pillow covers, too. I'm on the hunt for new, cheap pillow forms - for his pile o' pillows!
I really wanted to get this IKEA balancing cushion and an IKEA swing for his room, too - we will have an IKEA here this year sometime - but I just saw that they're not selling them anymore! (Is it true, Mirre?) I think that round balancing cushion would have been perfect for Thomas. I can't even find it on eBay.
Anyway, progress on the Major-Project - yay!
*Also, I just noticed that I have over 900 comments. (!) I will definitely be doing a little giveaway for comment #1000 - stay tuned!
