i had to take a picture of this before princess gave it to grandma - she's reading 'anne of green gables right now' - one of my favorites! i've read all 8 many times.
in other news - it is SO hot here! like at least 100 - and we have a swamp cooler - which usually i like, but when it's this hot it's not terribly effective - especially when one of the kids (or their friends) turned off the hose to it - meaning it was just blowing hot air in the house for a couple hours! ugh.
