Yeah, some crazy house chaos over here. Crazy timing, interrupting our regularly scheduled... schedules.
But there is never a good time for this stuff and it will all be good in the end.... right? Please?
So, last night as I was doing dishes in the backyard (we are paper-plating it right now in a major way, but you still end up with a few things) some neighbor boys were playing with my sons in the treehouse. One of those neighbor boys asked me a couple years ago if we were poor. Because I was outside hanging laundry. I love hanging laundry and that question made me chuckle. So I was wondering what he was thinking seeing me do the dishes outside!
Sidenote: If you ever want to make someone feel sorry for you, tell them you just finished doing dishes out in the backyard. It works. (We are fine, I swear!).
So, yeah, crazy. Easter was kinda lame around these parts, but we did do a little spring break, meeting some friends at the farm for a pleasant day off. We all needed to get out of the house!
And, unrelated but awesome: last year I found a four-leaf clover in our backyard (we plant clover, we love it). And I DIDN'T SAVE IT. And that bothered me. And then (the backyard burned and) I hadn't seen one since.
Monkey did, though, the other day. I was super excited and we pressed it.
And then last night, while eating dinner (outside, of course) I found THREE!
So maybe my luck will finally turn...
