Char just had to go and post about another cool place to buy washi tape.
Cuz I needed more tape.
I got my package very quickly.
Then I got out all of my fun tapes and played with them. They are so cute all together.
Besides wrapping gifts and gift tags, I also use washi tape to hang up photos or prints (like this one). Also maps and things for school, and sometimes holiday decorations. It doesn't hurt walls. Oh, and I used it for the Paris party, too. Good stuff to have on hand.
Here's where I've gotten them: Darlybird (I used that folksy bird tape on a lot of Christmas presents last year), a local Asian store, Target, and Downtown Tape
(which I always want to say 'Downton Tape' like 'Downton Abbey'). I
have to say that Target rolls have the most length per roll, and are
just as good as the other tapes I've gotten. The 'plastic-y' tapes
(folk birds, robots, and the Japanese ones) aren't washi, and definitely
have a different feel to them, but they're so cute!
And because I was dying to 'stick' something, I grabbed a new moleskine.
Now for a better way to store them...
