We set off one morning to the nearest little canyon I could find. I had to see some autumn leaves. Yes, we have them in our neighborhood, but I had this urge to go on a hike. And being homeschoolers, we could drop everything and do that.
First we hiked up this dirt road for a while - which was good, we saw more leaves this way.
We found awesome little magical nooks.
We also found Boulder! 15 points if you know who he is without clicking.
And plenty of acorns. Monkey was mourning our lack of Totoros in the area.
The girl loved the pink leaves.
We headed up a more 'traily' trail for a while, but the boys were ready for lunch. I think the girl would have gone on all day.
Beautiful, beautiful Fall!
And now, back to making Halloween costumes. One done, one halfway, and one... not started. I will be cutting it close this year! How are you doing on yours?
