I'm sorry that you are such a bad golfer that you hit your ball into our yard. Sadly, you're not the only one. However, that does NOT mean you can try and climb the fence into our yard. Not to get it, not even to find out if that one you can see is yours. And definitely not try and direct my kids who are playing in the back yard to find it and hand it to you. That isn't cool. So when I come out and ask you (nicely!) to not climb the fence, you should do just that. Not try and distinguish if it's my fence or the golf course's. Not say 'But that's my ball' in a whiney voice. Don't keep discussing it. Just get off. You heard me. You are a stranger, and I'm a mom. I'm just trying to keep my kids safe (and away from bad golfers and idiots).
