Some fun stuff we've been doing lately: playing with shaving cream.
Just squirt some on a placemat and you're good to go.
Oh, how I love those hand dimples on Monkey!
It's a good sensory activity plus a fun way to practice letters... at least once or twice... (and notice that Thomas sandal is covered!).
Another fun thing we've done several times this summer: washing Legos.
I scored my 3rd Lego find of the summer on Saturday - and we always wash used ones before dumping them in with the rest of our collection. The kids have a lot of fun playing with them in the water - and this weekend scored our first 'Bionicle' - the boys are enthralled.
Since we now have more than double the Duplos and Legos we had at the beginning of the summer, we are giving our Megabloks to little cousin Sam. So we washed those, too. Everything gets spread on beach towels to dry.
If we don't find more Legos next year, we might do this again anyway, it's been a fun thing to do on a warm Saturday morning.
